Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. She became known in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap opera Neighbors for a total of 100 episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood through two separate projects beginning with the musical comedy Hollywood & Wine where she played an aspiring actress coming to Hollywood. After landing the role of Maya in Scrubs the show, she portrayed the role of a highly seductive medical student. The show, however, is abruptly stopped. The actress then continues with the shooting of a comedic series produced by The Farrelly brothers Good to shoot starring the tandem Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson then appearances in film shorts for series as well as B series movies. As of 2013, the actress was able to take on more challenging tasks. The actress was for six seasons on the crime drama Franklin and Bash, and after that, she landed her first role as a regular in the online series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia. In the first two seasons, she plays Chad Michael Murray's rebuttal throughout the two seasons. She then played supporting roles in both feature films that are based on aircrafts. One was a TV film produced by SyFy's Flight 7500, featuring actors from television shows. Another film is Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She portrays a flight assistant. Above all, she together with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador the brand-new television show. This is a thriller that sees the actors play CIA agents. The show is created by the director Robert Rodriguez however does not surpass a full season of 13 episodes. The pilot for the show that has not had much success, is being made. She released the trailer for the romantic comedy series B Borrowed Moments in 2015 with Brian Krause, then appeared as Kad Cuoco and Kevin Hart's costars for"The Comedy" Witness for Rent. Also, she is one of the many release of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She is also featured in five episodes of the Satisfaction series.
